Fellowship

“It is not good for man to be alone”

From the beginning, God said, ‘It is not good for man to be alone’ (Gen. 2:18) and Jesus never called us to be His disciples alone. When we look at the first disciples, they ate together, walked together, and ministered together. When Jesus sent them out, He sent them out two by two.

Jesus said in John 13:35 ‘By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.’ Loving His disciples and having life-giving fellowship with each other will show the world who He is.

Being a disciple of Jesus means deep fellowship with Jesus and deep fellowship with His disciples. We are to love each other, lift each other up, and carry each other’s burdens (Gal. 6:2). We are also to share with each other what Jesus has done for us to renew and strengthen our faith (Rev 12:11).
