Making Disciples of Jesus

As disciples of Jesus, we are all called to make disciples of others. But where do we start? How do we actually do that? Making disciples means seeing people saved and walking with them as they learn to be His disciples too.

The first step is salvation. At One by One, we make it as simple as possible by starting with one person. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you one person in your life, that is not a follower of Jesus yet. Then follow these three steps. Pray. Serve. Share.

Pray
Start by praying for the person the Holy Spirit has shown you. He is the one who draws people. By praying for them, we allow Him to move in their hearts.

Serve
As you pray for your person on a regular basis, ask the Holy Spirit to show you how you might serve or help this person in some way. When we serve people, we are showing them the love of Jesus. Serving people helps take down walls and barriers.Share
