Share who Jesus is to you

When the time is right, the Holy Spirit will give you an opportunity to share who Jesus is to you.

Share a testimony
One way to share who Jesus is could be to share a testimony of what He has done for you. Look for an opportunity when you talk to your person. Listen carefully to what’s going on with them. At some point they might be in a difficult situation you, or someone close to you, have been in. That’s an opportunity! Here is a way you can share a testimony:

1. “I have been in a similar situation.”
Because you have experienced something similar, you know how hard that situation can be. So, with love and care, you can share about your own experience. Letting them know they are not alone in their pain.

2. “I chose to pray to Jesus.”
Now you can share what you chose to do in that situation. You are not telling them what to do. But you are giving them an idea of what they could do.

3. “This is what happened…”
Whether you saw an immediate breakthrough or not, Jesus will always do something when we pray. Maybe He filled you with peace. Maybe He gave you an idea or a new revelation. Share what Jesus did – the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. What He did for you, He can do for them.

A door is now open for them to ask more questions. They might decide to do that, or they might not. But how they respond is not your responsibility. You have planted a seed God can use.
